The Service is not directed at or intended for residents of California. If you are a California resident, please refer to Section 2 of our Terms of Service before using the Service.

1.1 Information You Provide. When you create an account or use the Service, you may provide us with:
- Name and email address
- Visa type and immigration status details (H-1B, OPT, etc.)
- Priority dates and deadline data you enter
- Payment information (processed directly by Stripe — we do not store card details)
- Any other information you choose to submit through the Service
1.2 Information Collected Automatically. When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type and version, device type, operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, and navigation paths
- Session recordings, heatmaps, and behavioral signals via Microsoft Clarity (see Section 3)
- Email engagement data (open rates, click-through rates) via Brevo
1.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Service may not function correctly without them.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service
- Send you immigration deadline alerts and account-related notifications
- Send marketing communications (you may opt out at any time)
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns to identify bugs and improve the product

- Respond to your inquiries and support requests
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share information with the following third-party providers as necessary to operate the Service. Each provider is subject to its own privacy policy and data practices.

We require these providers to handle your data in accordance with applicable law and only for the purposes described above. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own unrelated purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account termination or deletion request, we will delete your personal data from active systems within 90 days, except where retention is required by law, for tax or accounting purposes, for dispute resolution, or as part of backups that are purged on their normal cycle.
Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for product improvement and analytics purposes.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Opt out of marketing communications (via unsubscribe link or by emailing us)
- Withdraw consent to session recording by discontinuing use of the Service

6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and restricted access to production systems.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and are not liable for unauthorized access that is beyond our reasonable control.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. 8. International Data Transfers
PriorityPath is based in the United States. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
